30 'DoorDash Gremlins' Collecting Their Food
It's late at night, you're tired, and you're hungry. We've all been there. In the past late-night cravings meant calling up Chinese takeout or your local pizza stop. But now, thanks to apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats, you can get just about anything your heart desires delivered to your front door without having to unwrap your blanket or change out of your pajamas.
When people request food deliveries, they are doing so in their most vulnerable state; unable to find the energy to leave the house, or cook for themselves. Unfortunately, thanks to thieves and scammers, drivers are often required to take pictures of their deliveries as proof of completion. The result? People in their least photogenic state getting candidly snapped by less-than-amateur photographers while savagely going for their food. And thus, the DoorDash gremlin was born.
The 30 people in this gallery just wanted some grub, but instead found themselves on the receiving end of an unwanted photoshoot. We admire their bravery and laugh at their disheveled states not in mockery, but with the understanding that we too, have been there.
